a project sponsored by the Carbondale Convention & Tourism Bureau in Southern Illinois!

We are planning to make the southern region of our already popular state better known for its fantastic food and wonderful wine!  Within this site, you will find links to our local convention and visitor's bureaus, lists of really neat indoor and outdoor markets, scores of wineries and restaurants, lists of hotels, beds and breakfasts, and cabins, and a list of food- and wine-focused events.  You will also find a special section of recipes using Southern Illinois products!
